1. When the engagement begins, let them talk. Let them get it all out; they have been through years of conditioning. It’s important to pretend to be understanding.
2. When you get your chance, be sure to keep it simple; never use big words.
3. Use short, concise sentences–5 words or less.
4. Drawing pictures using crayons, construction paper and a sharpie work every time!!!!
5. Avoid using triggers (e.g., BLM, Antifa, Hunter Biden, Laptop, Pelosi, etc.).
6.. Repeat things over and over (they love it).
7. Compliment them with images, drawings, or emojis when they get it right.
