President Zelenskyy stated, “For me, what can I say? So he’s very welcome as well.” Zelenskyy further compared Trump’s remarks to President Biden’s visit to Ukraine, noting the importance of on-the-ground understanding. In March, Trump had stated that he could “solve” the Ukraine conflict in one day if reelected, emphasizing the ease of the negotiation process. Zelenskyy playfully remarked that if Trump were to visit, he would only need “24 minutes” to explain the realities of the war in contrast to the 24 hours Trump claimed.
